COMMUNICATION

Global Competencies, also known as the 6 C’s, allow us to reframe a future of uncertainty into one of challenges and opportunities to be faced with a spirit of exploration.

Education paradigms require a new framework, the Integration of Technology and Real Situation Problem-Solving. These practices allow us to integrate, develop and assess these Global Competencies in a meaningful manner.

The result is that students are involved in every step of their learning process and this is when Deep Learning truly occurs.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

  •  Present Global Competencies as essential to teaching practices today.
  • Convey the importance of Deep Learning.
  • Integrate Visible Thinking Routines into New Pedagogies.
  • Use Technology to Foster the 6 C’s.
  • Apply Real Situation Problem-Solving.
  • Provide Evaluation Strategies that meaningfully involve students in every step, for true Deep Learning.
